Gene Raymond Rentrope accepted Jesus Christ into his life in March 1978, was baptized in the Holy spirit in the summer of 1983. He preached his initial sermon in January 1984, at Ambassador Cathedral Church, under Pastor Thomas I. Branch. In May 1985, he graduated from Word of Faith Bible Institute, in Dallas, Texas under Pastor Robert Tilton. He was ordained an Elder at Mount Zion Christian Church August 1988, under Pastor Donald Q. Fozard Senior. From 1985-2001, he served at Mount Zion Christian Church, in leadership, outreach ministries such as, street crusades, door to door witnessing, prison and rest homes. Pastor Rentrope began Christian Revival Church, July 8th 2001, in the Apex community center, Apex, North Carolina.
